Where the Wildflowers Whisper 🌿
Step into a little meadow where the foxgloves sway, the bees are busy amongst the flowers and butterflies drift through the summer air.
This original acrylic painting is a celebration of the wild, slightly untamed beauty of a country meadow. I’ve filled it with colourful foxgloves, daisies, echinacea and delicate meadow flowers, with little bees, butterflies and other tiny details waiting to be discovered.
I wanted this piece to have that feeling of standing in a wildflower meadow and being completely surrounded by colour, movement and life.
The soft blue background allows the flowers to really come forward, while the loose flowing stems and sweeping lines give the painting a sense of movement.
There is something new to notice each time you look at it. 🌸🐝🦋
